Yet another year has passed, and I find myself reflecting- as I sit here, safe and sound, surrounded by close family and friends in a cozy, Christmas decorated house in the south of Norway.
2016 has been a year where everything has passed at an incredible pace. At the start of the year, there were still work to be done along the beaches of Lesvos and Chios – and this was the top priority for A Drop in the Ocean.
In December we have seen a lot of people who want to contribute to the ones who have left everything behind. Nothing is more touching than seeing children who want to do something helping others.
In order to give people outside Chios the possibility to understand how it is to be in a refugee camp on the island, A Drop in the Ocean will present an alternative Christmas calendar this year.
