Finally re-opening our activities for unaccompanied minors in Moria

From Tuesday 9th of June, we are finally reopening our activities for unaccompanied minors inside Moria refugee camp. The children have not been able to leave the facilities for the last 3 months, and they describe the period as extremely tough with no access to activities or outlet for their creativity. We are starting up with many different activities such as boardgames, basketball, football, pingis, puzzles, handicraft and we have a lot of painting supplies!

We are so much looking forward being able to be there for these children again, to channel their creativity through our activities as a part of their psychosocial relief.

Due to the COVID-19 situation the activities will take place outside, but within the closed sections and safezone areas where the unaccompanied minors live. To be prepared, we will bring face masks to all our activities and we have developed infection control measures, in line with the Greek Government’s guidelines.
